For the fast answers, I'd suggest you take some practice shots after you look at this, Sticky: ** IMPORTANT LINKS: EOS Flash ** (READ FIRST) (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=138907), and do a "Advanced" forum KEYWORD search in "Titles Only" for KEYWORD: group, then KEYWORD: party, & you will find a lot of help. I'd post a link to the search results, but those search links don't remain active very long.

If possible stop by the party place today and get a feel of what pose where and when. Or go to the party a little early to see the lighting, angle and what not. Nothing is worse than a backlit group photo. :)

Thank you for you advise. The party is a surprise of her Mom, but we arrive early and then maybe I have a time to check it out.
