I use a bounce card with velcro on it instead of a rubber band simply because it's easier to manage and stays in place a bit better. Just plunk it, peel it, move it.

Well, I had an idea. Why not advertise!

Unfortunately I couldn't print directly on the card stock, so I printed a sheet of Epson Premium Glossy paper and superglued the paper to the card stock.

The moral of the story: If you want to get your name out there, plaster it on everything! :)

*If this should be in Business or Flash/Lighting or some such, move it. It's an accessory, and also for flash/lighting too though so I wasn't sure where to put the thread.

i like this idea but the velcro adds to the cost of the card, with a rubber band the card costs what? 3 cents?

I had a 5 foot strip of velcro handy from other applications. It costs me probably 5 cents here. I wouldn't run out and buy velcro just for this but since I had it, it makes it nicer for flippin' the card around, even out of the way if necessary.

Unless I misunderstood something, it's a bounce card, not a business card. The price difference shouldn't matter. Ease of use would definitely matter.

I like the idea. The little bounce card in the 580 can only bounce from the long side.

Smart thinking :)

A website could be a good idea to add under the logo :)

I was going to put the URL on but it was only a glimmer of a thought after I hit the "Print" button.

I won't be losing sleep over it though. :p

no i got that, what i meant is with just a plain index card you can buy 100 cards for about $1, when you add the velcro strips i would be less inclined to throw them away! it makes the bounce card a little more permanent. i agree it's a little more use-friendly, i guess i'm just too cheap :)

If you really want to look professional, you should print your name on a Fongsphere!

I have a stack of 4 so far. Cost me about the same as a pack of index cards (for the velcro), since I use the Epson paper for prints anyway. Why not keep something that works? In a pinch, use an index card. Not in a pinch, use the logo card w/velcro (or any other modifier of choice).

Personalized toiletries. I love it! :)

Now thats just cool!

So, can I email you a logo and get a custome printed bounce card back for a ridiculous sum of money?

That could work. Mine's 2 layers, one fiberboard/thin cardboard & one photo paper. I'm sure it'll get scratched up over time but it's plenty stiff that it shouldn't get bent up.

Sure, PayPal me the ridiculous sum. :D

In all seriousness I could make you one if you cover the actual costs. I don't have enough supply to make real money off it, but I don't want money out of pocket for ink, paper, velcro, & shipping either. You could just as easily make your own though.

Cheers for the offer, but I think postage would end up costing more than me walking down the road to the printers :)
Getting a logo any where that people will see it is always a good idea though.

Well postage would be only about 90 cents, but it would take awhile to get there. :)

Possibly. I don't usually mail anything letter sized out of the USA. Typically it's small packages.
