I Finally did it...

I finally purchased my Mac. this little bad boy rockssss(G4 12in powerbook). Just hope i can figure how the use the thing.

Were you using a PC before you got the Mac? What was your reason for buying the Mac?

I'm using a PC myself and I've used Photoshop on a Mac on a course I was attending, and as far as my experience goes I don't see that either platform is better than the other. Photoshop is Photoshop, whether you run it on a PC or a Mac - it works the same.

Yes i switched from pc over to a mac powerbook mostly to use while traveling or out away from home but i still you a pc at home. Only reason, i always wanted one but wasn't sure which style i wanted to go with. Seeing that i didn't have a laptop Why not a mac. I can get away with playing around with photos at work seeing im recently put in charge of my companies website(too bad they dont switch over to mac thay way i can get my system for free :cry :).

alsmith, hey thanks ya'll are great here. I did find a good manual "Mac OS X the missing manual" also I lucked out one my employees is going to get some software for me over at academic superstore Photoshop CS along with Macromedia Studio MX for under $500.
