I took some photos of some lady and her kid the other day. I will be recieving a small payment for my services upon her recieving the photos. Shes a friend of a friend so i know shes good for it. Plus, im new at the whole photography thing so i didnt ask too much.

My question is how large should i be sending the pictures? Is there a standard? Should i send them via email or should i throw them onto a CD and mail them to her? What i was thinking of doing was sending her a smaller version of the photos and then send her the larger ones on CD.

There are about 10-15 photos in total, and the size of them right now is 1728x1152.

Not a very big image. That would be just under 300dpi printed at 4x6. What is her intent with the photos?

If she just wants them to look at on a computer, consider 1024 pixels or so on the larger side. It's always best to deliver prints (properly printed) to clients especially ones that don't know about digital printing. Give the entire package instead of half, with your client thinking they'll save money printing themselves, but there are so many variables with digital printing to get a good print.
