If you go, be sure to check out the Photography exhibit. I got a First Place for Amateur Black and White. (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=341858) While I was there getting my photo taken for the award, I got a chance to see the Best In Show, and it is a stunner. The whole thing is worth a trip for anyone in the So Cal area.

But, back to topic.

I like the bike shot, of course - cliché or not. I wonder if it could have a more "timeless" look if you cloned out the lock and license? Just a thought.

And the next to last staircase shot. Very well done. I like it because it is very disorienting. It took me a long time to cipher out that we are looking UP, not DOWN. I was thinking "Dang, that is one steep staircase! - how did THAT get a permit in OC?"

To expand on this a tiny bit more, If you are interested in knowing what judges look for, they are going to have a "Judge's Walk Through" on Thursday, July 19th at 7:30 pm. All six (I assume) judges will be there offering explanations of what it was about the winning shots that made them winners.
