Spent Friday night and some of Saturday at Ozark Intenational Raceway for their Summer Shootout. Also got to try out my new 70-200F4L. I am really liking what I have seen from this lens so far. The focus seems so fast compared to my 28-135IS.

On to the pics. Had some great light and skies on Friday night.

I beleive this car was close to 800 CI.

A little wheel stand makes for a good pic.

Tried some panning too and didnt fare to bad. Need a little slower shutter speed though.

Care to give it a try?

It would be nice without the smoke in it but it was right after a burnout before he backed back in.

Nice images! I, too, like the 'Vette with smoke haze...

I enjoyed the whole series. try a little slower shutter speed for the panning shot, but Keep it up.

The photog in the last pic is blurry. Nice series...I like the crew turning around on the burnouts! I remember the tar and rocks hitting my back as I did the same.

I beleive she has to 30ds one with a 24-70L (setting to the side) and the other with a 70-200F2.8 (being used)
