I like #3. I would crop a little tighter though.

Good firsts for a new lens!

Nice images. But I am concerned that you did not read the warning label. This stuff is highly addictive and causes irrational behavior. If you check out some recent posts, you will see that it causes people to wade into water for extended periods and consort with wasps. Be forewarned.:D

Welcome & nice shots, #1 is definitely my favorite, can't possibly think who Irwin is referring to ;)

lol yeah addiction is the right term, it's amazing what the macro world can offer to the unsuspecting n00b macro photographer

BTW nice to see lots of Aussies on here too, definitely the best photography forum on the net ;)

Thanks

Yep, there's lots of Aussies on here in the macro section, off the top of my head, Greg_C (Greg), Photobitz (Dan), Lawrie_B (Lawrie), myself, einsteins auntie, Wayne_Eddy and so on. All of them terrific photographers. I've had the pleasure of meeting Greg and Lawrie, but not Dan and Wayne. Sorry Dan, I'm moving to QLD, so won't get a chance to catch up.
