Excellent portrait of this very skittish bird! I see this bird only during the winter and have never gotten a decent shot of one. Super sharp with a beautiful b/g. :)

I just saw the second image. He looks just like a Robin in a different suit. :)

Yes it does look a bit like a Robin, Mitch !
Quite often the two species get mixed up because of the similarity in size and color. The Robin is about a half inch larger than the Thrush.

Well, they are related. A Robin is a thrush, which I never knew until getting into this hobby. :)

Both shots are great allthough the portrait is fantastic, they sure beat the thrushes we get in the Uk.
