This was an old abandoned house where some bikers used to live. Something just drew me to this window shade.* I am not sure about the sheet of plywood on the left, but the orange stripe that it creates does call for attention. The question, is it distraction or counterpoint?

*At least I HOPE that it is a window shade. Marcia insists that it is some twisted trophy after a rape. She is a social worker and as such is awfully suspicious of anything out of the ordinary.

Whatever the reason for the use of the female undergarment, I think it makes for several statements and my mind boggles as to its purpose - was it simply hanging up to dry or as you suggest "a window shade" - its a nice "emotive" (think that's the right word to use) capture.
As for the orange stripe I like it - again is it a peice of plywood or a door hanging off its hinges - it leaves the viewer guessing.
good work

Okay.........love images like these...........
Love it!!!
Only suggestion..........you can take it or leave it.
I would crop out the stones on the right hand side of the frame. The curves clashes with the softness of the undergarment.
I think the undergarment sorrounded by hard, geometric shapes would make a more pleasing photo.
Okay..........I am over-analyzing.
Good job.

Great photo!
IMHO you should crop it so that you only have the window frame. While that plywood does look interesting, I find it too distracting.
