I made the drive down and was pretty pleased with the airshow. I wish the F16 would have been a bit closer, but what can you do?

All with the 1D2N, 24-70 for the statics and either 100-400 or 400L for the performances. Seems like an odd combo, but I'm currently "evaluating" the 400 and seeing if it'll be better as I do a lot of bird shooting.

Almost all were at +2/3 EC in Av mode. I'll know for next time to be careful with bare aluminum planes - if they glint in the sun the camera will try to preserve highlights and you could go to +1 or further. Some of the backlit Blues shots could probably have used +1 2/3, although in RAW I was able to correct, albeit with added noise.

These are all fantastic shots Greg...but I keep coming back to the shot of the Marines helicopter.

These shots are great! I especially like the shot of Blue Angel #4 peeling away, guessing for the landing sequence.

After you complete the lens evaluation, send the losing lens to me....I'll take care of it.:rolleyes:

I love the helo Pic. Wow 8 50 cals in the nose of the b25 seems like a little over kill but hey give them all you got you might not get the second chance.
