actually it's a busa, the headlight is custom molded if that's what's throwing you off

first the headlight, the whole rear subframe, and cowling, the gas tank, the front fork, and the frame sliders are all gsxr 1000 parts mounted where you mount frame sliders on a gsxr 1000, the busa frame slider mount diferently, plus u have to cut the fairing which the one in the pic isnt the right fairing, just cause u just that jap emblem doesnt mean its a busa, trust me I sit in a suzuki dealership 45 hours a week I know

Back to the shot and the PP. I like the PP you have done with it. Works well with the color(s) of the bike. Desktop quality :)

yeah, i definitely like the pp, particularly with the sky. the contrast looks nice and it's definitely a unique pic. cool bike too.

Holy god, who cares what kind of bike it is... we're on a PHOTOGRAPHY board kids!!!

I love the edit with the new sky, very well done. I think you've done this before! The positioning of the big in the middle of the frame is something I personally would stay away from however. Also, shooting this angle at f3.5 I'm not sure the whole bike is in focus, only from the motor back appears to be. I'd keep it around f8 for a shot such as this.

What was your lighting? Sun only?

the tank was kinda crazy

i mean the bike looks cool but at the same time he took a perfectly good motorcycle and ruined pretty much every performance aspect of it so I'm kinda torn on my opinion of it. i guess it's a badass parking lot queen if you're into that type of thing.

That is a GSX-R 1000. Nothing on that bike portray's it as a busa. The frame/subframe/engine casing (clutch cover)/front end/and fairings.

I had a friend in high school that drove a chevy cavalier that had cadillac emblems on it. I know GM did the rebadging, so I guess it was a cadillac to some, but most everyone knew it was just a cavalier.

My vote goes to the GSXR 1000, but then, really, it doesn't matter. Either way, it's a great shot, a very cool bike, and that buddy of mine still drives a crappy car. :)

great bike i like the first pic with the nice sky, as for what it is i carn't think why anyone would do a gsxr 1000 up to that standared but a Busa is worth the effort .

Great pictures. Like the first one.

...and to beat the dead horse, in the first pic, in the lower middle of the bike (I don't know bike part names, sorry), there is a chrome (cover) piece that says R and GSX under it.

There's a crazy guy that stands in the lobby of our post office 18 hours a week screaming "The world is coming to an end!" but that doesn't make him a part time Postal Worker. ;) :D

That said, I don't know my ears from my ass when it comes to bikes.

Hot shots of a hot bike. What PP did you do on the sky? Must have been shot in RAW...

Nice PP work, but I'm going have to to reinforce that it is a Gixxer 1000. You can look at your tank pic and tell. If there wasn't added vignette (which looks great), you'd be able to tell. That said, this is a busa:

I like what you did with it. Is there a guide or technique that I can look up for creating the sky as it is in your picture? Really adds to certain pics.
