View Full Version : Photoshop CS dumping EXIF data

Okay, I'm sure there's some simple setting that I'm just overlooking, so feel free to laugh at me for not being able to figure this out on my own.

I convert my RAW images to 16 bit TIFFs using C1 PRO (I also can't figure out how to import the images from my D10 via C1, but that's another story), and then open them in Photoshop CS for final adjustments (such as Roger Cavanagh's Velvia Variations (http://www.rogercavanagh.com/actions/variations/01_velvia.htm) and the addition of a watermark).

My problem is that when I save the Photoshopped files, either as TIFF or JPG, the EXIF data isn't saved with it. I use Exhibit Engine, and would really rather have it extrapolate photo details from EXIF rather than manually pulling the info from the original C1 TIFF and typing it in for each photo.

I'm positive Photoshop has a setting telling it to leave all EXIF data intact when saving edited images, but I can't find it.

Any help is appreciated, and like I said, feel free to laugh. I choose to blame it on my new glasses. Yeah, that's it.

Thanks,
Heather
