Just got a Rebel XT not too long ago, here are some pictures of my sweet-heart.

please C+C. I feel like the colors in my photos dont "pop" like some i've seen on this site. What can i do to make the picures more dramatic? I guess the monotone color of the car doesnt help, but I feel i get the same thing in all my photos

Are you using a polarizer (http://www.offrench.net/photos/articles/polarizing_filter.php)?

polarizers help, shooting at a background that contrasts the car does aswell.

Do a search for the 'lomo' action that was provided on this forum, I think you make like the results messing around with it. Great car, I own a black ls right now. I think the wheels and lip on it look great.

I feel like the colors in my photos dont "pop"... It's a matter of taste. The range of tones in the car look good, but you could try for more pop in the grass using a Layer Mask.

A question about sky (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=338140)

Or try the Velvia plug-in: The Velvia effect (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=237261&highlight=velvia)

Thanks for all the comments. I will try some of the suggestions mentioned!

Chris: Thanks man. The driver is my girlfriend Val (aka Rusty on cb7tuner.com), and the passenger is her friend Shayna. My integra got two girls at once....lucky car!

Getting the transparent hood effect was pretty easy...i just used the tripod. Took one shot with the hood open, one shot with the hood closed, used a little GIMP magic (cut/paste/transparency), and got the results above.

Eric the shots are actually pretty good, I am also on cb7tuner.com. PaQ_16 on there as well. I personally loved the rolling shot. Hope to see you post one here more often.

I like #3 the wheel shot... it has an interesting perspective

I don't like the others so much, maybe a different location would have done it for me?

its always hard to find a good location to shoot... but sometimes you will find it is right there in front of you. ;)
