Took some pics of a female that wanted to try to get into modeling. This being here first time, and likewise with me, also. I'm still trying to get the hang of things. But constructive criticism is welcomed. Thanks!

By what I've seen, glamour is all about off camera lighting,
reflectors and post processing the skin.
For a photographer its all about building lighting skills one at a time.
One website with cool offcamera hotshoe flash ideas is Strobist.
Some of his "students" post their glamour in the Strobist section of Flickr.
Good shooting.

Great model and she has a beautiful smile. But the PP kind of takes away from all the beauty!

2,3,4 seem very soft to me. I like one except for the small amount of white from her bra showing. 4 could also use a little fill flash or a little more, which ever the case may be. Just my opinion. Take it with a grain of salt as I am no fashion photog.

I'm no model photographer so take my opinion with a grain of salt, what I see however is...
#1 appears to have been taken with the oncamera flash, you have a shadow behind her camera left, also making the arm she's holding up brighter than the rest of her. Aside from that and the little white of bra that's showing (easily PSed) its a good shot.
#2 would probably be my favorite if it wasn't for the PP you did, not sure what you did to it but it made the hot spots on her face really bright, she's a very pretty girl to begin with, keep it simple and I"m sure the model agency wants to see what she looks like a bit more "plainer" not all glitz and glamored when they look to hire.
#3, sorry but its my least favorite, the pose don't work at all, I think it makes her look heavy - a bit too much room overhead also...zoom in a bit more and turn her sideways a bit more.
#4 not sure I like the squatting next to the car, try some with her standing or leaning on the car instead. Her head also seems to blend in with the tree in the background.
#1 and 2 are worth working on IMO, fix the things in #1 and tone #2 down a bit and you have a great start for her portfolio, but that's just me. ;)
