the photos continue to stack up...here's an older show from May which was pretty great, really. all woman 4 piece playing mesmerizing, droning guitar rock w/ farfisa organ as ornamental trapping. all 3 front ladies sing, and sing well for that matter. guitarist Mia Clarke is also a contributing writer to england's best fringe/outsider/experimental music mag, _The Wire_. plus, she's hot.

as usual, my 30D had a variety of lenses on it, but the 85 f/1.8 was used for about half of these.

The band has great lighting.
So many different looks for you to capture.
All are cool.
Especially two with the fade to the blue keyboardist
and four, wow, perfect moment, light and focus on the face.
Good shooting.

#4, 5 and 6. Nice. Wonder if cropping off the bass in #6 would be a good thing...

#2 and 3 don't work for me.
(not enough face in #2, #3 I'ld have shot lanscape, and sidestepped to the left a meter before I took it)

These are really nice. I like #2 and #7 because they aren't typical...and not typical is the way to be imho...well, sometimes anyway.

In #7 it looks like her right foot is stalking the pedal, ready to pounce!

I think I like #5 the most. Great set.

Oh, nice, lots of estrogen! Good images and I do like the "Moments like these never last" girl!
