Rainbow picture

I took this yesterday late afternoon. My husband called to tell me about it and I wish I was with him because he saw both ends of the rainbow in a field...now that would have been a COOL shot!

Hi CindyTykie, I like the fact that you went out and had a go at taking this shot, well done. Does it inspire or emote you? Like you say, the double ended one may have been a great one.

Some points of view if that is ok? If not then just ignore me most people do :-) It is slightly dark. The F/8 aperture is cool but you could have reduced the shutter speed to get a better histogram and still keep it sharp. The wire across the top, maybe shoot lower to exclude this or zoom in because 75mm is not the kit lens so I presume you have a longer lens? Finally, middle composition, no need to place the arc of the rainbow in the middle of the shot. It is arcing to the right so place it a little more to the left to lead the eye in further into the frame.

Thanks for the comments rammy. I do have a zoom lens but thought that would not get most of the rainbow. I have to work on getting out of the frame of mind that everything needs to be centered in the picture.
