I recently received my new Mark 2 and have been very happy with the pictures. I moved up from the digital rebel and was used to the Parameter 1 setting for portrait settings. With the Mark 2 I have changed the Parameter to +1 contrast and set the color matrix to portrait and seem to get fairly simular output. I realize that with the digital photo pro and shooting with raw I can alter the color and contrast later. I just wanted others input on how they are setting the parameter settings to get the best results for different photo types.

I use Adobe RGB, +3 Sharpness, Cfn 4-1, 18-2, 17-1.
You can also check out: www.siphoto.com for their recommended settings.

Thanks for your help. I loaded the Adobe RBG 3+ sharpness and the CFN 17-1 setting in . The new EF 24-70MM L lens is focusing like it should have from the start and the pictures seem to have great color that I cannot seem to improve on in the digital photo pro software. The Cfn 4-1 and 18-2 settings seem to be somewhat complicated perhaps you could explain when and what you use this for. Could you recomend a book or website that would help further explain how to better proccess the raw images. Thanks again for your recomendations on the settings and the link to the SI website.
