Yes, they will.

As with all pocket wizard applications you will need to use manual mode on the 430EX as a pocket wizard only supplies basic sync (but this would be true for any flash connected to a pocket wizard).

You will need an adapter to connect the pocket wizard to the 430EX.

I've been reading this Strobist: Lighting 101 (http://strobist.blogspot.com/2006/03/lighting-101-start-here.html), he recommends a pocket wizard or something similar.
