A little bit late judging by some other entries for this Airshow last Sunday. I always wonder how some people manager to process their shots so fast, takes me days to find the time, anyway....

Those thunderflies were a right pain in the rear. I had one inside the viewfinder somewhere, I saw one crawling inside the review screen and also inside the information screen (might have been the same one I suppose).

those are some of the best shots ive seen from legends sunday yet. my uncle has one of the best ones ive seen, managed to get the sea fire just as it gave us a haircut lol

Awesome series. I like the Pappy Boyington shot. The Corsair for those not familiar with the tv series

cathus could i ask how you create that border, as you know i usually suffice with the drop shadow malarky but fancy soemthing different, unsure how to go about it though.

Desertraptor,
Pappy Boyington series? never heard of it, a WWII drama?

Jason,
thanks for the comments, with the border I just add a 4pixel stroke to the photo then I increase the canvas size by 100pixels height & wdth and then do another 4px stroke. I have it saved as an action in Photoshop so when I've finsihed processing and resizing, I just press the action button and it does it automatically.

I've not put them on UKAR as I generally get few comments.

Yeah it had Robert Conrad. I think Pappy Boyington was a famous US fighter pilot of the Pacific. I loved the show.

tell me about it, some funny guys on there, funny as in slightly strange lol
my duxford thread had over 400 views on their iirc, and 1 comment ...

i think the problem over there is the repitition, as its majoritorly an aviation photography section, tends to be a lot of the same pics, i.e 400 people off the site go to legends and all post near enough the same thing, but then there are some very good shots on there once in a while that i feel nesecery* to comment on...

Great set of images.
Still fishing thunderbugs out of everything. The one behind my lcd is still alive, just hope it doesn't die and get stuck in the middle of the screen!
