View Full Version : SoCal: A very unique 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited! (8 images)

Hi all,

It's been a while since I posted anything here, but wanted to share a few pictures I took of my buddy's Legacy over the 4th of July holiday weekend. I'm not all that happy with how some of these turned out, but I'm still learning the ins and outs of location shoots, so bear with me while I get my bearings. If anything, I learned a lot from this experience, and next time, I intend on making corrections to all the stuff I noticed in post (reflections, poles, blown out areas, junk in the BG, focus/DOF issues, etc.).

Oh, and for those who are curious, the front end is all K2, which is similar to the bumper on the BMW M5, but I think the lines flow a lot better on the Legacy. It includes carbon fiber grille finisher, front lip, fogs, and black nickel emblem. His exhaust is also by K2, which is a quad-tip burnt titanium unit (all 4 tips are adjustable), and JDM STI trunk lip spoiler with Subaru aero guards on the sideskirts and rear bumper. Wheels are Prodrive GC-05F 18x8". Goodridge/Endless/Motul brake upgrades. Lots of other power goodies, too, but more later!

Very nice, 3 is my favorite just because of the background compared to the others. Looks like a M5's front lip kindof.

Thanks for the comments so far, everyone. Despite the harshness of the sun in #3 blowing out parts of the car, I like what it did to the background, by giving it some nice depth/atmosphere.

Where is that near the beach? I'd swear Ive been there before... # 3 is really nice !~!

I jumped back and forth between my 17-40L and 60mm.

now that is slick, great choice of front bumper kit! the lines do flow better on the legacy. great shots man

man that is so nice. all he needs to complete that jdm sti look is that rear windshield wiper and a carbon fiber truck lid (bottom piece where it says legacy 2.5gt and subaru)

again great shots. suby rocks. if that was an '08 it would probably look even meaner

have you guys seen the latest '08 wrx (which in my eyes has lost the subuar spirit) website? seems like theyve caught to the the HDR craze.

The wiper would be nice! I'm also trying to push the JDM rear bumper on him. I told him that he's gone this far, might as well go all the way! :D
