BP-511 and BP512 Usage

Any Difference between them,can BP-512 use in Canon Pwershot G1?

where can i find the spec of BP-512,i have search canon website but still cannot find any info about it!

BP-511 works on G1 and D30.
It's 7.4V 1100mAh(Li-ion).

In Phil Askeys review of the G-2 the BP 512 is mentioned as equivalent:

there is no advantage of the 512 over the 511 or its after market equivalents from Maha, Vid Pro, Lenmar, etc. Most of the aftermarket BP 511 batteries have higher rated capacities than the Canon; at very least they are cheaper.

imo. only has some fits model difference. bp-511 can fits g1
