The first one is a nice sunset (the sky is wonderfull), but something is annoying me.
Might be the vignetting (darker around a circular area).
Might be the composition of the horizon .
The second one, while being a nice capture of the bird , does not make it to
me because of the composition.
Too much empty space in my opinion, especially when the bird is looking
backward at you ( may be a tighter crop ???)
That's what I am thinking, but it is just my opinion.
