Maryland/DE/PA: Picture meetup on my boat

Don't know if any folks from Maryland, Delaware or PA might be interested, but my boat is available for a day of picture taking on the northern Chesapeake. I keep it in Port Deposit, about 15 miles south of the Delaware border right off I-95 in Maryland. I'm thinking that the best opportunities may be later as leaves turn in the fall, but I'm also open to doing something this summer if there's interest and we can work schedules out.

It's a 30 foot power boat with enough deck space to easily handle half a dozen of us. More can fit, but it wouldn't leave as much elbow room. I've never really used the boat for this before, so it may take some planning to determine how to spend the day getting the most photo ops, or it may be interesting to just go out there winging it.

Don't think this is selflessly motivated; I'm hoping to learn something from all of you!

This gives you an idea of the amount of room in the cockpit. The 16 friends of my son that you see here would not be comfortable taking pics, which is why I was thinking 6 or so.

This is only my 2nd post so I'm probably looking a little shady right now, but I would definitely be interested in this. I'm in Hershey, PA so it's a little bit of a drive but I'm always up for a roadtrip. Any off-shore lighthouses in the area?

I grew up in Gettysburg (lived between there and Chambersburg) and my mom's family is from Shippensburg. I went to college at Ship - well if you can call it that - I didn't do a lot of the "college" part.

It's just as easy for me to come down 81 so I will gladly pick you up. Are you ok with lead-footed female drivers?? My dad was a state cop so I have that typical cop's kid driving mentality and while I'm not a bad driver, I have a definite defiant disorder when it comes to speed limits.

Hmmm...let me get this straight, I would be the token female on a boat full of guys! Why am I all of a sudden having flashbacks of all the warnings my mom used to give me about talking to strangers and getting in the car with men who offer me candy????? Maybe we should meet up in a heavily populated location first so I can see what I'm dealing with! Who am I kidding, I hike alone in the woods all the time and haven't met a single mountain man that tried to take me home to his cave. Ok, I'm in!

I saw that movie! The girl was jogging in the woods and got kidnapped by two guys who took her camping for a few days. I won't tell you how she finally got away in the end...it was pretty gross!

Port Deposit - Did you go to the Extreme Makeover Reveal Day today? I went with the family - it was a sea of people, but it was a hoot. They built a house, an indoor riding arena, and refurbed a horse barn in one week! Sorry, didn't mean to hijack the thread :o

I think just about any time would be good for me as long as I know a little ahead of time. If it is on the weekend then I'll have to get somebody to cover for me at work.

Oh yeah, I'll hopefully have a 70-200/2.8 by then and possibly a 30D or 40D :)
