Starter Flash?

Anybody got a starter flash to recommend? Relatively low price, I shoot portraits and "product shot"-ish stuff mainly, but I want to venture more into action photography (I'm an airsofter and the only photographer in my school, they will start begging for me to do events before long... :rolleyes: ).

How much are you willing to spend?

My first flash for my XT was a Sunpak 383 Auto. It's not computerized and doesn't have custom functions, but I only paid $60 for it and it helped me learn how to use flash really quickly. I got some great shots with it.

However, for sports you'll want something with power and some custom functions. At a low price, I recommend the Sigma EF-500 Super.
