Anyone know about or can comment on the Tamrac 5606 or 5608. That is System 6 and PRO 8 respectively.

I need more space and prefer these types of bags but they are quite large. I know from experience Tamrac make a good bag.... and I'm not really interested in a backpack... as good as they may be.

So any help would be appreciated.

Hi Reaperman. I have the Tamrac Pro8 5608 and like it alot. It is very roomy, although somewhat physically large too. It is versatile, due to the fact the camera is stored horizontally. I can keep any lens I have(10-22,17-40,50, or 70-200) on the camera while storing the others without breaking it down. I don't run two bodies though. It holds all that plus the 580ex flash, hoods, filters, blower, and all the usual accesories with room for more. Of course, it does get a little heavy fully loaded if you are going to carry it a long ways. The strap is comfortable though. I use this as my "home base" for storing everything and short trips. I got a Lowe Pro off trail 2 for hiking longer distances to get the weight off one shoulder and transferred to the waist. You can't carry quite as much with it but I like the system of both.
