Sorry - I think you will have to explain yourself a little better.

Do you mean Windows 2000 ?

I would have thought that Canon provide drivers for Windows 2000 and I would imagine that ZoomBrowser should work fine with it too.

Can you explain exactly what the problem is ?

There is no program called Windows 2003. There is an Office 2003, which consists of several applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.). There is Windows XP, which is the latest version of the Microsoft Operating System. It comes in either a Home or Pro version.

Instead of using Windows Server 2003, why not use a workstation operating system such as XP?

Did you check with MicroSoft? They might know the answer...
Can your provider 'unblock" your port for the email?

It doesn't look like Windows 2003 is intended for normal, individual home use and you may even find that Canon don't officially support it.

As you suggested, you should find that your camera works fine with XP.

I'm not sure what you mean about your provider 'blocking' your email port, but it sounds like it's not ideal. If I was you, I'd be looking for another provider !

Windows XP replace Windows 2000 Professional
Windows Server 2003 replace Windows 2000 Server

The Server version of Windows not intended for normal usage.
Therefore you might have problem.

Use Windows XP or Windows 2000 Professional will solve your problem.

As Liang says, Windows 2000 IS for home use. Windows 2003 Server is NOT !

As you cannot use your IXUS camera as a webcam (a topic that's been discussed on this forum many times !) then you will not be able to use it to stream video to the internet.

I think the consensus is that you probably need to choose between using Windows 2003 server software and being unable to use the Canon software, or changing your system software to a version that is designed specifically for consumer use in order to be able to use the consumer software that Canon makes.

Have you reached out directly to Canon and/or Microsoft?
