Still very new at this as a hobby...but wakeboarding seems to lend itself well to my 70-200 f/2.8 IS. I pull out the Sigma 10-20 every once in awhile too; it works well for wakesurfing.

The lighting was "hit and miss" to say the least.

The main subject [3-8] is my brother. He loves the fact that I've become a wuss and now spend less time on the water and more time behind the camera.

C&C Please! (...on processing/crops as well.)

Love 7. :D and you must too, being his brother ;) Also, you seem to have controlled the highlights(water etc) very well, gj!

Great series, all very shots. From my brief experience with water sports, I would say your brother felt a little sore after the crash in number 7.

is he hitting rails? Otherwise, he should lose the helmet because it actually hurts worse to fall with a helmet than without. Plus you run a very serious risk of a broken nose when the water jams the helmet down the front of your face.

Thanks for the opinion. There is debate on this topic. I personally think that your nose comment has merit, but if I had a choice of hitting the water hard I'd probably still want something between my head and the water - anything.

That said, the helmet's main purpose is for wakeskating. ...and to please the "mothers" back on the dock.
