Interesting effect on the first, looks like the old soft touch cards from American Greetings back in the 70's. I hope a soft focus was what you were shooting for! The others are nice but lok a bit blown out in the whites, did you PS them a bit? I have that problem if I use my IBM laptop for PS, it seems to run the screen a bit dark (and the Spyder won't correct it.)

Anyway, try not to pump up the intensity too much and keep on shooting!

Blown out is usually said when you've overexposed a light area to the point of losing all detail.

So, on the first one, I like the idea of what you're trying to so, but you need to play with it a little to make something interesting.

The second one really has some potential to be an abstract sort of flower capture. This one has some potential.

I like the third one too. With a crop and some PP this could be a decent picture as well.

One suggestion, though. Go into your profile and set Image Editing so that others may show you what they're talking about. This will help you to learn more as well.

i love underwater and aquarium shots, but they r hard to focus with the glass and reflection of lights in the glass, would it be easier with manual focus to take certain shots? cuz im planning on getting an upgrade maybe a G7 or G6 dipending on which has options i need and until then i want to know every detail on each camera and learn on mine first!

I like numbers 2 and 3 but the first is very poor technically and not worth exhibiting - best thing would be to discard it and take the shot again being careful about exposure - bracket if you choose - and focus.
