I have only used SanDisk.... but was shoping on Sterling for batteries and was trying to purchase enough to get free shipping. I noticed they offered a memory card. Has anyone from the wedding forum ever purchased one and if so what do you think?

Why would you risk customer images to cheap cards when Sandisk are probably only a few dollars more? Just pay the shipping and get cards that are known to be reliable.

If you want affordable and good quality, Transcend is hard to beat. They also have lifetime warranties like Sandisk and Lexar for their pro series.

As Tim has already said theres just no good reason for trying cheap memory cards even one failure during the life of the card would be a big problem and cost you many times more than what you can potentially save.

Sandisk gives you at least 10 year warranty, and they do it for a reason too.

;) ;)
And should you ever have to use their tech support get ready for a long, drawn out day of phone calls. SanDisk's tech support is the absolute worst. Okay, maybe not that bad but I'm not including Dell on that list because that is a given.

Thanks everyone. I have been pleased with sandisk so far, just wanted to check.
