I really dig the black and white photo where she's having her hair/makeup/whatever done - I think the lighting came off really nice there. The one after her and her ?father in the car is pretty unflattering imho, she doesn't look happy :p

The one where they're having stuff thrown over them as they're walking along the path is great, looks like something almost out of a movie. The following one is good too.

(be easier to have some better frame of reference here :p)

The last one has an oldschool look to it I like as well :)

That's the top lot..

Ooh, and I gotta comment again on the last photo of the second set - I really like it.

I can't seem to get this embed images thing to work, I can't find the URL to link to anyway.

I'd love a little C&C on my latest wedding from June (still very behind with the editing!) if anyone has time to visit the link. Whilst the couple are really happy I want to improve and any C&C that anyone can give would be really beneficial.

Thank you

Nice images Cate, the dress shot on the 4 poster is lovely, its great when you have somehwere nice to hang it like that isnt it!

To post images in a thread just right click the images in your blog and select properties and then in the pop up window double click then click once more straight after in the Address (URL) section to highlight the whole address OR click just to the left of the "http" and drag across and down to highlight it .... then right click and copy the address information. This has then copied teh address information of the images to your clip board and you can paste it into the URL promompt in the POTN forums when you click the little image icon at the top.

It sounds incredibly complicated when its written down but its actually a 2 second job when you understand it...ive just made a little movie in case its still confusing, uploading it now.

Heres a little flash movie I recorded as I was doing it, it shows me doing the 2 different methods to highlight the image URL, u only need to do one, I find the triple click the easiest. You can also do the copy once its highlighted with the standard ctrl+c for copy ... and of course ctrl+v to paste it into the image url box on the portn forums.

Firstly JimG thank you very much for the comments, I agree perhaps the bride & dad isn't the best shot (he was quite hard to photograph but that's my problem not his!)

And Bambert wow! thank you the video is perfect just what I needed - I'm so dumb when it comes to stuff like this - thank you!

No problem matey, your not dumb because dumb people dont know what they dontt know and also dont admit what they dont know, its just one of those things that you either know or dont, glad the flash helped, much simpler than my confusing explanation I reckon ! :)

nice shots but for the second shot (dress hanging), id like the pole to be behind the dress. for the shoe shot, id like to see the whole thing, not cut off at top. and, lastly, number 4 (makeup) is a bit dark

other then that, great pictures!! thx for sharing.

1. Nice. Looks like a catalog shot, although I wouldn't have chosen those shoes for a wedding. ;)
2. Beautifully done. Probably my favorite of the set. Your processing is flawless in this one.
3. Ditto. And I like the use of the flowers in the shot.
4. Great natural light shot. I love the expression you've captured here.
5. An okay shot. I like her expression.
6. Nice. Looks like he's digging his fingers into her arm, though. :)
7. Even though they're centered, I think it lends to the overall composition. You might play with the crop on this one a bit.
8. Just a great candid moment with excellent PP treatment.

I think it's time to raise your prices. :)
