Hi havnt done a landscape shot with my slr before so thought i would give it a go took with the canon kit lens

cool shot, has a nice painterly feel to it, I think it could use a little extra detail in the blacks tho.

I would have cropped higher to remove the dead area just in front of you

This is fantastic shot. I agree with the crop suggestion though.

Very good mate!...The light really did play ball on this one :)
There are some artifacts around where the sky meets the ground but this could be down to compression for here.

thanks sie yeah lost alot of detail posting this one for some reason dont know if it was the software i used to put the border on or what but the origionals ok ;)

Good choice to use the tracks as a lead-in.
