That's the BBC article on a project I recently ran for a friend, with the help of my friends.

Naysayers who postulate that the internet is a virtual world and virtually nothing happens as a result of it can eat their words, we were the 4th most read story in the UK yesterday and were asked onto 4 radio shows and I believe the national newspapers are to be running with the story too.

It's nice what a few people with kindness in their hearts can do, thought you'd like a read :)

What a great story! And although there are people who "poo poo" the internet, there are a lot of stories out there like this one. Just recently on this forum there was a young member who broke one of his lenses and another member sent him a new one. Good people abound, contrary to what the news media would have you believe. Thanks for sharing this!

That's what life is all about. Photos is what happens to you, on your way to help someone be a better off than they were the day before.
