Just curious what your thoughts are on this shot. I just got back from a week of bad weather in Bandon and didn't get much of a chance to shoot. I'm trying to make the best of what I did get. Thanks.

Thanks everyone. Bandon is roughly 100 miles or so north of California. As for the weather it was either really foggy or overcast with light rain for the majority of my time there. The couple of times it tried to clear up the wind picked up worse than usual. I tried to make the best of it and sleep all day but the children in the room above mine made sure that plan failed. I would like to try and go back during the winter months but the drive through central Oregon is pretty hazardous that time of year.

That's too bad about the weather Travis. It's a lovely place (I know where Bandon is, I meant I didn't know where you took this photo...). Fall is a good time to visit the Oregon coast...so is spring. And usually summer is the best time...maybe next time you'll have better weather! :)

Oh okay. The picture is on the south side of the river facing the lighthouse at low tide. Here is another picture from the same location and you can just barely see the lighthouse.
