You did good Gary ! I like the framing adding the extra color to one side and including the rock edge . This is the thing about adding to your BG/FG instead of being just plain . Nice going !

Gary.....What an eye catcher. That shot just reaches out and grabs me.....very nicely done.

I like it. The background and rocks are great, with a very well posed and composed heron.
My only nit-pick: I'm unsure about the sticks to the right. They add to the surroundings, but at the same time they take my eye briefly off the heron.
Most definitely a wall hanger.

Great going Gary, I like this, but I think you could try to clone out the sticks in the foreground on the right of the shots, it would only improve this great photo. Thanks for sharing.

Agreed. That's why I'm unsure about the sticks. They add to the picture, but take a bit away from the bird. I definitely wouldn't crop them out.

I like it, it is artsy but not over the top. I agree about the sticks in the FG, i like what they bring to the shot, but they do keep fighting the bird for my focus. To each his own i guess,

A Thank you to All I appreciate your Input very much and I have shots with and without the Sticks in the right corner and chose to leave them in for color. White can overcome the picture and the blue of the water and the Redish orange helps you to look into the picture and find the bird.

Hey "DUSTIN" Great to hear from you man!!!!!
I thought the shot needed the extra color. I spent 2 days shooting White and I can tell you it gets boring.

Gary, I think it's an excellent piece of work - with the sticks BUT maybe without what appears to be birds**t on the rock next to the reeds.
Great work Gary, you sure are a busy guy.

Great shot and I really like the color of the frame.
Thanks The color is from the water in front of the bird. I use colors from the picture to make frames as to not overwhelm the subject.
