In No.1 it looks like the pilot spotted you as well, agreed No.3 stands out well

Yeah, I was standing on top of my car to get a view over the corn.
I think he was afraid he was going to spray me, so he circled around a couple of times , then I took off so he could get back to work.
thanks for the comments !

Good shots. A reverse of No.3 would be awesome but we take what comes.

Very nice. I saw one of those flying out of a local airport in CA many years back.

Yeah, he was moving pretty quick, and there was only one road where I could get a head on shot while he was spraying.
At the other end where he was turning around was in the middle of the field where the corn switched to beans.
I got a side shot, but not as crisp as the others.

Jon, they are some great pictures, sounds like you want to try and get out a bit more man;)
Work will always be there, but life is there for living, and from what I can see, some damn good shooting:D :D

Jon, that air tractor looks a lot like the Piper Pawnees that they have at Windy City Soaring. Where did you take these shots? I live three miles from 0C2. Nice shots - I really like the first the best. Love the way he's looking right at you.

he was north of 64 off Henderson rd and Swanson rd,
and today I saw him again near County Line Rd north of 64, just west of Sycamore Speedway. I'm pretty sure he takes off from Taylor Muni.
here's all the info on it:

It would appear there's a small fleet of them here right now, I've seen several out at once. It looks like they move around the country throughout the year, based on what crops are up.

I absolutely LOVE the first one!!!!! The yellow of the plane against the cloudless sky is fantastic. I can't believe that the pilot is so clear as well!!!!

I saw one the other day spraying the field two blocks from my house, but with the trees and such I wasn't able to see the tail number, and I didn't have time at that time to get my camera.
I'm down in Waterman.

Yeah, well, I had DeKalb because who's ever heard of Waterman? But since there's someone here from DeKalb, or DeKorn as my wife calls it, I figured I'd better make it right!
