I am sure there's a simple way to do this, but I haven't figured it out so I am turning to the experts.

I currently add a border to the images and put a signature/watermark at the lower left right hand corner. I've created an action to do this, but first challenge I have is the placement of text is different for portrait vs landscape. So, I created 2 actions, one for portrait / one for landscape such the signature is at the same bottom right hand corner.

Is there a way to anchor the text as measured by the distance from the lower-right hand corner rather than from the center? That way I won't need 2 separate actions for portrait vs landscape...

Or is there something else simpler I completely missed?

Since you are using CS2: On this site (http://www.russellbrown.com/tips_tech.html), in the CS2 section, there is an action called 'digital watermark branding'.

I'll second what Renee had to say. I have an action that I use that was based on the concept of this tutorial and it works like a charm whether you are portrait or landscape. This is a great tutorial for those that struggle with this, as I did at the beginning.
