I have a Canon Pixma Pro 9000, Photoshop CS3, and I recently downloaded a free trial of Lightroom. Tonight I was printing my photo through Lightroom and my picture didn't come out the same color as I see on my computer screen. It looks almost sepia and isn't supposed to be. I then tried printing the same picture through my pictures folder on my desktop and it looks a little better but it is a little orangish red.
I like the way Lightroom prints except for the color issue. Can anyone please Help!!!!

what color space are you using? sRGB, adobeRGB, or something else? I use lightroom for printing and have never seen something like this...

I know you are going to think I am crazy but I just started using this new printer and both softwares. I think it is adobe RGB but where do I look to find out?

i'm not @ my desktop right now but i think it's under page setup or print settings. so you import the picture you want to print, do your editing, then click print from the top right. at the bottom right you'll see page setup and print settings. say hey if you can't find it and i'll put my sherlock cap on.

I found that however it doesn't mention any of the terms you used. I went under printer setting and chose properties. I see Print quality and Standard is chosen, Color intensity is Auto. It says nothing about what you mentioned.

I went under my printer in the control panel and found a few things. I found that it says Device is my Display-Dell E207WFP- 256 MB ATI Radeon X1300Pro, but if I click on the drop down arrow my Canon Printer is one of the options. Also if I click on advanced it says device profile is (system default- sRGB IEC61966-2.1). Do you think this is something that I need to change?

Take a look at this thread first, then see if you have any more questions.

Lightroom by default uses the ProPhoto RGB color space. You can not change this.
