What do you people think of these? Is it better in sepia or B and W?

Camera: Canon Powershot A80
Shutter speed: 1/125

I like the sepia. But that may be because it seems like it's in color, since the sepia fits the subject very well.

i have an A80 too and the sepia mode on it isn't very good. the images come out way over saturated and too red. it's better to just add sepia tone yourself after taking the picture in black and white. unless that's what you do already.

i'd like the see the second image with a sepia tone. it's a nice big already. my uncle does this kind of photography for a living but i've never seen his work :/

I actually like both the sepia and b&w on that statue. I kind of like the b&w a little better, but can't really pinpoint why.

I like them both, maybe the spia one a little more. And I really like the second photo, the way you composed it is excellent.

I prefer the sepia. It looks much richer then the BW.

Sepia is better IMO because it gives a more natural feeling about the stone.
What is the real color of the stone?
Show us the color version, perhaps with these statues you can leave the natural stone color?

I actually like the second one better. Not because it's b&w, but because I think the composition is great. I really think that is a fantastic shot! :)
