So today was the big day. Much respect goes out to all of you excellent wedding photographers because today I discovered how hard it is! Here are a few shots from today's long long day!

erm how do people the the whole second photographer thing. i thought it was hard enough dealing with screaming brides and the like so for them to let you take the pics too :o, unless your a second paid shooter?!

love number two though.

I was not a paid shooter...just along for the experience. I was very fortunate to come into contact with not only a very friendly laid back photographer, but also a laid back bride and bridal party. We had a great time and the experience was priceless. #2 is also one of my favorites.

In number 2 did you leave the date in focus so the groom wouldn't forget it?

Overclock...
Yes, that was my intention exactly! I plan on giving him a wallet size photo of that shot so he can carry it around with him at all times.. kind of like a cheat sheet!

They are fine, except for some colour balance issues....have a go at corrected that blue cast in number 2

#2? I don't see a blue cast... maybe my monitor is off. Anyone else see blue cast in #2? I'll see what I can do in PS, although my skills are limited.

I like them all... #3 however, the sunlight on the left side of her body is a little bright.

I think they're all great, but I like #2 the best as well.

#2 is fine and no blue cast (my monitor is color calibarated).
#3 is a bit blue, but ok due to the light conditions. If you shot raw, increase a bit the color temperature. Best would have been a fill flash, but we know it always better after the shot is taken and we check it on the monitor.

OK, Number 2 definately looks off. I just recalibrated my display as you have all got me worried but it still looks blue.

Take a look at this. Your with one i have adjusted.

The second shot is good but the others have issues in terms of composition, posing, color balance, and lighting. Keep practicing. :)

yes, I do see the blue in #3. Your correction is much better. Thanks! Could you give me some insight on how you did that?
