Hi,
I visited JIM CORBETT NATIONAL PARKINDIA this summer, enjoyed the stay their, putting up a series of photographs. Have a look at it & Pls reply.
Camera : Canon Rebel XTI / 400D
Lense : 75-300 III USM / 18-55 (kit lense)

I looked at all 3 posts you have, and this is prob your best of the three... The other posts had too much elephant booty shots. The last 2 shots are probably your best shots. You shouldnt have cropped off the elephants trunk in picture #3. Its the most important part of the elephant to shoot.

#4 is a little better, you got the trunk this time, but I would of waited for the baby to come out a little more, instead of showing a trunk coming out of mommy's knee... You cropped the back of the elephant, which looks like an awkward place to crop her. Might have been better showing her whole body, or turn your camera vertically, zooming in and cropping behind her shoulder...

Wild animals are a very difficult subject to shoot. Patience and timing......

Thanx for u r reply, the full serise which I posted is to say, " how protective is mama elephant, which didn't gave us any shot of her baby".
