I take photographs at events and need to produce contact sheets with file names on them quickly. At the moment I use the index sheet from my Hp7550 printer. This is OK but the photos are a bit small and it is small to produce. I have used the contact sheet function in photoshop but this is also slow and long winded.
Can anyone recommend some software that will produce a contact sheet reasonably quickly?
Cheers

Have a look at Thumbs+ from www.cerious.com
It can produce contactsheets You can configure 100%, number of collumns, row, size, which inforation to display etc.
They have a tryout version.

In my experience the Contact Sheet maker in PS CS is very quick and very flexible. I.e. you can configure it to produce as big or as little thumbs as you like.
Only time it is slow is when you make an index print of RAW images, where it has to de-RAW them first. This can take a bit longer.
