Hi everyone,
As Saturday was quite nice I thought I would spend some time at a nearby river (Blackwater) looking for Dragons and Damsels - supposedly 30 out of 36 UK species have been spotted there. - my only shot was of a Banded Demoiselle (using a zoom at 300 mm).
The second shot was a one and only chance at a Small Copper Butterfly (on clover leaves) - a fraction closer and it was off!!

I also managed to find this cricket - according to one field guide I have - a short winged conehead?

you seem to be overexposing - maybe try -1 exposure compensation next time.

Thanks for that RM - I had been messing around with exposure compensation and I think I had left it at +1 by mistake!!:o

I agree with RM Dave they look blown out, shame as they had the making of a fine set.
