So I was a guest at a wedding yesterday, and was the annoying guest with the DSLR ;) (along with my dad)

Luckily the pro said we could shoot over her shoulder as much as we liked; well, what she said was that we could hang out of her ears if we wanted as long as we stayed out of her shots. So we had a fun afternoon!

But this one I got when the pro had left the church to get to the reception - it's my favourite so far (I still have about 500 to go through)...

I think I can see what you are trying to portray but nothing seems to be in focus apart from the end of the stalks and all I can "see" are his red ears and bald head. Plus it is too central. Sorry, just me.

The process looks very cool. I like the tones and colors.

Yeah, I know about the focus problem, but I had to rush to get the shot before they moved so I'm just happy the exposure was ok  And there's not much I can do about his ears and baldness ;)

Since they're my friends rather than clients (and I'm not a photographer anyway), I suppose I'm less critical, and I know how much they'll like it, because even out of focus, it was a nice moment :D

Thanks, forkball! I'm only learning Photoshop, but I love it already : )

That's cool as that is the main thing really.

It's not bad, but just leaves me wondering what's going through their heads - if you could've caught that at an angle with a bit more of bride/groom face, showing their expressions and feeling, it could've made the picture a bit more emotional and powerful.

I actually have a few of those. I liked this one because you can't see their faces - it feels to me as if you're excluded from the moment, that they're not aware of anyone else.

This was the first time since they walked out of the church that I saw them take a moment to look into each other's eyes rather than at the camera lenses that were everywhere.

I suppose you had to be there
