How do I shoot in RAW?

I have a 30D and I can't figure it out.

EOS Cameras forum more suitable for this question :) Menu, quality settings. Or you can change the set button to control quality/format using a CF. Or you could just read the manual :p

I learned something new the first ten times I read my camera manual, over the course of 6 months.

Menu; at the top of the Red Section you will find "Quality".

Hit the SET button and take your choice.

RAW only is at the very bottom. That's where mine is permanently set.

It won't shoot RAW in green mode (which is dumb IMO), just the various JPEG options

You have to be in a 'Creative' mode in order to be able to select the RAW option
