Our own engagement photo shoot - 1st attempt

This afternoon we decided to shoot our own engagement photos, just used a tripod and a wireless remote. Let me know what you think.

self portraits are hard. A little easier to focus because you have another subject, but still hard.

You are in need of fill flash though. There is a slight tilt (doesn't look intentional) in the second which can be straightened.

kudos for trying to do it yourself.

Sweet, and tricky. Try not to chop your hands off - especially the hand with the rock!

Thanks for your comments and suggestions, I'll give it another try in a couple weeks and keep those fixes in mind.

Shooting own photos is a difficult affair. The first one could have been a great image if you used a little fill flash and cropping the hand is not advisable.
