Wow, very nice Rob. The first is very sharp given the dullness of the day. I don't know a thing about aircraft but this jet sure looks overpowered.

It can't break the sound barrier, so it sure isn't overpowered. Its a tiny bit underpowered if anything. This plane wasn't made for speed though, and does it job perfectly :)

it can be done :) you need 1/8000 sec to do that it was only bright enough to get 1/2000 today.

Holy Cow !, FANTASTIC PHOTO'S !, when, where and how were they taken !, I'd love to see one of those fly and fire, care to share any info ?, as to when and where I could go to shoot one, please,please,please,please

well there here in the UK for another 2 weeks i got these at RAF DONNA NOOK, BUT they also use wainfleet and holbeach ranges.
as to when it really is pot luck as to IF they will be working no garentees as often a sorte can be canceld at very short notice .
eddit how ? with a 1dmk2 and 500f4isL A 300mm would do at Donna as they are very close to you most of the time.

Thanks for the info Rob, guess my 1D mkII and 300mm f4'L' and 1.4 converter might work well at Donna :-)

those A-10s are as big as a DC-3! Thats a massive beast....
