Hi,

I bought one of the 70-200 for a friend of mine and to be honest with you, the sharpness is great. All-round just a fantastic product. You can find some review and sample picture over here:

You might want to spring for the tripod adapter. I've found that shooting this lens with a monopod (the poor man's IS) makes life even better.

The rare times I visit the Markeplace, I just see a lot of unanswered posts and many "FS" and "WTB" posts that don't interest me since I usually buy/sell from established dealers.

That's a great deal -- I'd love one of those babies. However, since I'm having my own actual baby any day now, that kind of expense will have to wait a while. That's OK, though -- I think the trade-off will be worth it :D

Well, I bought it for him, cuz he was afraid of buying stuff from internet. I had done that many times, actuallly, I never buy electronics from best buy, staples and so on. :wink:
But, for myslef, since, I recently bought a 300D, I'm not sure that I can convince my wife for a L series. :roll: however, a father day may help... :lol:
