...but I'm really digging the ABR800! I think it's time for me to get a light meter - I plan on using this light on a shoot this weekend and don't want to have to do a bunch of test shots each time we change spots.

i like the lighting a lot! did you use one abr or two?

That was one ring flash mounted on a 30D with a 28-70 2.8L. The light is quite powerful - I believe that shot was at 1/32 power, although I was pretty close (0.6M).
