My cousin is drama...errr...beauty queen....well, whatever anyways she wants me to do her new headshot, i intend on getting this lens in a few weeks and am just looking for someone to show me if it'll get the job done.

Trust me, the lens will be the least of your trouble. Whether it will get the job done doesn't actually depend on the lens - although it will make it easier in the right hands.

Yeah...i know, i'm a little worried about the setup, but i'll figure it out.

Ok, so let me be honest. This is my internet version of playing with toys i'm going to get in the near future in toys'r'us. I've already read all of the reviews....

Here you go (http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=31932). As I said before - 70-200 f/2.8L is one terrific lens for portraits, sharp even wide open, produces great bokeh and shallow DOF. You'll love it ! :)
