Any advice on the best place to shoot from? I'm thinking from the top of the pits or through the fence at Tarzan - the 180 degree bend behind the pits

How semi-official are you going to be? If you are going to have a media vest, the world is your oyster. Otherwise, you can still get decent shots from the punter's side of the fence (as I do).

1. Start/finish line - Pit garage roof near to the podium.

2. Turn 4 into home straight - Pit garage roof at the very end nearest the turn 4 exit.

3. Tarzan through the fence.

4. Chicane into turn 4 - Through fence on grass area near helicopter pad (if they let you, there was a medical helicopter on standby at the BTCC meeting earlier this year & I got moved on, should be fairly quiet on Saturday though).

As it is part of the BRSCC racing at Rockingham, the guys at Revolution racing have a tie in with MAD Photography & they usually have a few girls there. Brian from MAD is very accomodating for anyone to take pics of the girls, keep an eye out for them (if it's raining, your likely to find them in the V8 Mac Trophy tented village.

Ill be there Sat and Sunday, with the Caterhams so ill be on the otherside of the fence, first time at Rockingham so not sure what to Expect

If anybody sees me, im 6 foot 8, normally with the Sigma 500 with me, say hello!

I'm about 6' will have 30D and Sigma 100-300 and a home made waterproof (i hope) cover made from an old seat cover...

I'll probably, after looking at the weather be wearing flippers, goggles and a snorkel. I hope it rains, otherwise I'll just look daft if its sunny.

Look out for car 41, Monoposto 2000 series - red Reynard 883 :)

I've usually got my son and nephew with me. I'll be the one with a 30d around my neck, rucksack on my back trying to indulge myself in taking some pics whildt keeping the kids in check.
